You Were Created for Community
We want you to experience a community that enriches your life, helps you grow in your faith, and inspires you to love God and love others. That’s why we encourage everyone at Blue Oaks to join a small group. We have groups that meet both online and in person. Check out the open groups below, using the filters to find a group that’s right for you and register today!
Interested in learning more about leading a small group? We’d love to talk with you! If you don’t see a group that interests you, let us know, and we’ll work to find one

Men: Book Study – Acts Odyssey
Men: Book Study – Acts Odyssey
How did the Jesus movement grow from a few dozen frightened followers to a worldwide phenomenon in just a few decades – with no detailed strategy, no buildings, no budget, and every obstacle imaginable? To seek the truth, Rene Schlaepfer sets out to retrace the journeys of the original apostles as told in the biblical Book of Acts. As he visits ancient sites in Israel, Greece, Italy, and several Aegean Islands, Rene meets with archaeological experts – and encounters modern thieves, rioting mobs, and nests of serpents. His adventures are enlightening, entertaining, and inspiring. Your hope will be strengthened. Your vision will be increased. And you’ll be convinced it can happen again.

Common Questions
Groups meet on different days and at varying times so you can join the perfect group to accommodate your busy schedule.
You’ve got stuff happening, we get it! Do your best, but don’t let missing a group one or two times keep you from connecting to community.
Small groups are meant to be small. They range from 5-12 participants. Groups meet in homes, offices, restaurants, and other locations. We make sure every location is comfortable.
Group seasons range from 6-8 weeks. Try out a short 6-week group; if it’s not the right fit, try something else next season. If your group has great chemistry continue in your journey together for up to two years!
Groups handle childcare many different ways. Some groups co-op with one another, some groups pool together to hire a sitter while meeting in a home.
Childcare is currently unavailable during COVID-19.
