You Were Created for CommunityWe want you to experience community that enriches your life, helps you grow in your faith, and challenges you to love God and people more, and to accept love from God and people in return. That’s why we encourage everyone at Blue Oaks to join a small group. New small groups launch about 2 times a year while others continue year round. We have groups for men, women, co-ed, students and married. Check out our open groups below! Use the filters at the top to change date, time, group type, and more! Facilitate or Host a Group
You don’t have to be a spiritual giant to lead a small group. What do we look for in group leaders? Laugh at yourself often, ask good questions, and have a passion to walk with people on their unique journeys of faith. We can train you in everything else!
Do you love making people feel at home but aren’t interested in facilitating a small group? Be a host! You don’t need the perfect furniture, the perfect living room or the right lighting. A cozy spot with a welcoming and gracious host is the perfect place to connect in community! Get a front row seat to sit back and watch lives be changed.
Groups meet on different days and at varying times so you can join the perfect group to accommodate your busy schedule.
You’ve got stuff happening, we get it! Do your best, but don’t let missing a group one or two times keep you from connecting to community.
Small groups are meant to be small. They range from 5-12 participants. Groups meet in homes, offices, restaurants, and other locations. We make sure every location is comfortable.
Group seasons range from 6-8 weeks. Try out a short 6-week group; if it’s not the right fit, try something else next season. If your group has great chemistry continue in your journey together for up to two years!
Groups handle childcare many different ways. Some groups co-op with one another, some groups pool together to hire a sitter while meeting in a home.
