God doesn’t just want us to work together, to be in ministry together as men and women. He wants us to be in community together as brothers and sisters.
In a world where men and women increasingly are torn apart by the loss of fidelity in marriage, suspicion, hostility, struggles over power, and confusion about sexual issues, can you imagine the redemptive power of a community where men and women live together as brothers and sisters? Where we long for and pray for each other to develop and use our spiritual giftedness? Where relationships with one another are marked by respect and honor and joy?
When we do that, great things can happen. Lives can be transformed.
So this week we look at the forces that could destroy the community God wants between men and women. And what we can do to protect it.
