The easiest way to mismanage anger is to not take responsibility for it — when we blame our anger on external circumstances, or think it’s something we can’t control. It’s not the circumstance that causes anger. It’s the interpretation of the circumstance that causes anger. And we have God’s power available to us — the power to control anger.
The challenge this week will be to become a person who gets angry with the right person, to the right degree, at the right time, and for the right purpose. And not give the enemy a foothold into our lives because of mismanaged anger.
