Serve With a Group

Serve as a Group

Be a visible demonstration of Christ’s love in our community – with a group! We believe that serving together is one of the quickest and most comfortable ways of getting deeper with your group. So how can you serve? All you have to do is let us know you’re interested and we will help your group find the perfect serving opportunities that work with your unique group and schedule. Groups can be coworkers, neighbors, groups or friends!

Sunflower Hill [All Ages]

Sunflower Hill is unique in that your group can serve any Saturday from 9am-12pm without booking an appointment! Unless it is raining, just print your waiver online and bring it to the garden and get ready to be put to work weeding, planting, harvesting, etc. Looking for a fun special event to do with your group to serve AND have some carnival style fun? Attend one of the family days that are pre-scheduled quarterly. The garden gives people with special needs volunteer and work opportunities, and grows produce which is used to feed the homeless and near homeless in the Tri-Valley. To find out more about our Sunflower Hill and to find the volunteer waivers go here.

Seniors [All Ages]

Your group can gather in a casual and comfortable environment and make the day of a senior in our community! Play board or card games, do a craft, or just sit and chat with seniors in our partner facilities and enjoy community with one another. You can also take seniors to do serve projects, like Kids Against Hunger or projects at the center (think writing cards to military, etc). To find out more about our senior ministry, go here.
