How do you know you’re saved?
This message outlines three statements that deal with assurance of salvation.
God’s faithfulness is stronger than our doubt. He did not intend for us to live in a state of anxiety concerning our relationship with Him.
God’s promise of assurance is not grounds for a presumptuous spirit. We can have assurance in our relationship with God, but assurance is not based on figuring out what the minimum standard is. Living by the minimum standard could mean we really don’t trust God.
God’s presence and work in our lives are indicators. Indicators of God’s work in our lives can aid our assurance, such as when we trust Christ for forgiveness and are shaped by the Bible and the work of the Holy Spirit.
