Christ is eternal; therefore, problems are temporary. Christ is everywhere; therefore, problems are limited. Christ is in me; therefore, I’m not alone. Therefore, I can persevere.
When I think in ways that lead to perseverance, and persistence, and faithfulness in life, I’m practicing Christian hope.
When I think in ways that lead to discouragement, defeat, despair, giving in, then I need grace to change the way that I think.
