We gather together to worship on Sunday primarily to encounter the living God. However, an odd thing happens in churches all over the place.
A congregation gathers to worship, and some people go home having been in the presence of the living God. They wept or laughed. They were broken or healed. Some go home different people, because they were in the presence of God. That’s our prayer for those who attend Blue Oaks.
However, some people go home, but they just sat through a service. Their hearts weren’t ready to be given to God fully or to receive what God had for them. We come to worship God in a real meaningful way because it is a reflection of the authentic desires and intentions of our hearts.
